Kissed by the sun.

Forever seeing Solar branding photos. It’s not fair.Bucketlist.

whatt solar branding? first time ive ever heard of this. ouchies.

this is outstanding

i was never really interested in getting a branding and usually i am more result than procedure focussed but this is just to damn interesting.

Skin cancer is all the rage in body modification these days. I can’t even believe this is a thing. Metastatic melanoma, basal cell, and squamous cell cancers from overexposure to the sun? Nahhh, that shit is just hoop-lah bogus scientists make up. Come on, people. I hope that everyone who has thought of doing this or had this done realizes just how dangerous this is. Skin cancer is fucking serious, and this procedure is the most insane thing I have ever seen. I hope the practitioner warns his clients so they realize this isn’t just some harmless scarring technique. Would love to hear from people who have gotten this to see if they understand completely the risks, but I’ve asked around and no one has responded.

This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen someone in the body mod community do. Yay!

I am confused. Katie do you truly believe that a single session(lasting a matter of minutes) of intense focused light radiation(waves of light focused to harness their heat) is going to cause the lasting damage that skin cancer stems from?
I am not trying to be a dick, I really want to understand where you are coming from.  I do not care for this procedure but I am also not getting it done.  Nor do I really think your concerns of skin cancer are entirely valid.

I would love to get deep into how flawed your notions on this are Katie, but to be honest, I’m too tired for it. Maybe tomorrow. I know others will bring up the dozens of ways in which you are wrong and leaping to foolish conclusions (most likely in an attempt to feel superior in some silly and trivial way) so I will step aside and let them. I only wanted to chime in to ask that if you are generally ignorant on a topic, you would ask questions instead of offer false expertise. Thanks.

The decline of America runs parallel to the incidence of disdain for excellence and advancement from the impoverished, the middle class' wantonly ignorant bravado and the elite's supplemental use of greed in place of innovation.
